Civics and Citizenship
The “Literacy Council” will provide you with three-3 Lesson Booklets. These lessons will be and supplemented with audio CD’s:

1. Literacy Skills
2. Civics and Literacy
3. Ready for the Interview

The Literacy Skills Booklet is designed for students at the Beginning English literacy level and will provide practice with word understanding and will help you to obtain good listening, reading and writing skills.

The Civics and Literacy Booklet is a companion booklet for the Literacy Skills Booklet. This lesson teaches you the 100 civics questions that you will encounter in the civics component of the U. S. Citizenship Test. This lesson will also include limited practice with the question and sentences.

The Ready for the Interview Booklet will guide you through the various language tasks required for a successful naturalization interview.
